Updatessss…
I just completed a 5D4N Sin-Indo camp that was part of the MOE effort in organizing bilateral camps between neighboring countries. I have enjoyed immensely in that camp for I made new friends. Being a facilitator, I applied my skills as a leader, the sensitivity, the motivation, etc. it felt like another outfield again, except this time, no scolding, no xiongness, all fun.
Actually, I want to highlight an important news. 5 national dragon boaters just died in Cambodia due to a freak accident as their boat capsized in the river. The strong current in the river proved no mean feat to all the strong swimmers for all 5 of them drowned. As of yesterday, the bodies were recovered, some few kilometers away from the accident site. I had been following the news, and have been reading newspaper on it. Today, on HOME in straits times, it featured 4 persons life story, except for one, one that was the youngest, one that was same age as me, one that I did not even notice he was an acquaintance of mine till Kenny pointed out. I read back and discovered, oh gosh, he looked familiar. Straits times says, “he was serving national service, as of yesterday, little else was known of him.” Even the NJC PE teacher Stephen low, whom I did not know for I have graduated from there le, was given a positive acknowledgement by our principal, nothing was said of Chee Wei Cheng. He was in my neighbor class back in secondary school, and the only time that we interacted was during Sec 3 adventure camp where we were part of the camp leaders. The camp was one of my most enjoyable times in secondary so I had great memories of it. It is certainly saddening to hear the demise of his, and more sadly, nothing else was known of such a nice guy. God bless you…
Saturday, I went to collect my Stand-Chart Race pack. Actually I was tremendously happy that you asked me out for a movie, for even though it was during ur exams. I guess you needed a break and some happiness injected and you thought of me, so I grateful to that.
Enchanted by the happy movie, I’m just glad that you are happy. Just do your best for ur exams Babe!!

OK just little quick updates..
Last Friday, I officially passed my driving test. WOOHOO! I’m a qualified driver now. HAH. It’s pure luck that my warm-up route is the same as my test route. And it’s even more luck when my tester is the same as my first test one. He’s cynical and intimidating. Even I thought I did quite well but he still had to give some much comments at the end but still pass me. Phew lucky me! Driving is fun la but my parking need to be better to achieve the one time slot in effect.
Got a job too. Working as some camp facilitator for adventure camps. Have always been inspired after the sec 3 adventure camp. This time it’s me to impact on the youngsters life. Also I need a part time and flexible job, seems like the new Zealand backpacking trip is gonna be real. Well should be going after CNY next year for abt 1 month plus.
Am watching a new Korean drama coffee prince. Quite hilarious. It’s a must watch for all!! Explore your new sexuality. Haha
Oh yep, and I visited T3 yesterday. Very big, very spacious, and bright due to the natural lighting. But I just do not understand why they must put small stickers of flies in the urinals. Go take a look, it’s very real and good for guys to zero into the urinal too haha…
i dunno wad to say to you... just all the best for exams!

Ex Wallaby has ended for me and provided me a short trip prior to my ord. what a nice ending to my 1 year and 10 months of national service.
Rockhampton looks like a nice place to stay, a cosy little town at the north-eastern side of the Australia. The weather there is very erratic. Freaking COLD at night and Ultra Hot in the day. And imagine we were told to have a morning 5am run in like 13 degrees in pure PT Kit. Trembling like a dog… after which, the following days of run, my body seemed numb to the coldness le.
Back to the training, it was ok. At least I had a better understanding of what my missions are and how I am part of my company effort. The last day was memorable though. It was my last night with my men, looking back they have spent about 7months with me. I was just laying back on the hull on my vehicle, gazing at the stars-filled sky and talking with them. A feeling of sadness and emptiness filled me suddenly. The feeling stood out so much that it felt like the stars so brightly lit against the black canvas sky. That sort of soothe me a bit and my men told me they understood why the unit fly us up for a week plus just to fight the last mission with them. It was a feeling of resent at first but that transformed to gratitude for I’m truly glad I am able to spend my last days in NS fighting a good one. That morning, the 9 junior officers of us were presented out full lieutenant rank in the field. All the dissent towards the unit became appreciation. We then transported back to camp and further on to Rockhampton for a free-n-easy tour of a day.
Basically, there’s just this big mall in the town and it has 3 “NTUC-like” supermarkets plus a handful number of shops. The mall wasn’t far from our motel and the lunch and dinner place was just a stone’s throw away. The eventful day was spent shopping and watching DVDs we rented from the motel. It was definitely great to travel with the other 8 officers. We had fun and loads of time to bull around for day.

The next day, we left Rockhampton for Brisbane via the domestic flight.
There was no chartered flight of direct flight back to Singapore for us as we were sort of like inserted into the exercise in the first place. At Brisbane, we had to take a train from the domestic airport to the international. Once we arrived at the station. We stood up, proceeded to the doors waiting to alight as the train had stopped. The PA system announced, “International Airport. This is where you should alight for international airport. Please alight at this station for international flights out of Brisbane.” And for 10 seconds, we stood by the door, listening to the PA thinking that only after the announcement then the doors will slide open. However, there were passengers walking in front of us and we were thinking something is wrong. Then, at the corner of my eyes, there was a blinking light by the door and it says, ”Press here to open the door”. Gosh!!! I pressed it quick, we all quickly exited the carriage for the rest of the passengers were mocking at us. It was a great laugh later. Haha
Then it was just a long flight back to sin via Quantas.
And guys, Presenting to you my Pink IC today. Haha.. ORD LO…
I miss all of you, esp you babe.
