Yipee, it’s Chinese New Year very soon!
Yar, my coy just booked out this afternoon, and I just had my reunion dinner at my grandmama and grandpapa house. All my aunts and uncles looked the same, cousins too, but I am different. My hair is much shorter.
I am very sleepy now and I am afraid I can’t hold on till 12 midnight. There’s this practice which we have to do, called shou ye. And the reason why I am so sleepy was I only had 4 hours of sleep last night cause I was serving my regimental guard duty. My platoon had 6 people and we volunteered to guard the ammo dump. (that freaking place is so eerie and scary and a lot of stories about there are heard) my partner and I were damn scared but we just don’t care lar, we concentrated on talking to each other and share our life stories and experiences. My partner happens to be my bunk mate and I think after this duty, we know each other better! We did the 10-12 and 4-6 slot which is okay, cause apparently the “strongest” period is 12-2am.
My coy booked out today and will be booking in on Thursday night (which is later as compared to most coys ha ha) but we will be starting our field camp on sat. I must not get sick during this CNY period so will be abstaining some munchy nice food. And I have to report to CMPB on Thursday morning for the wso-fighter interview. Some time ago I took a pilot test and I thought I screwed it up, surprisingly, I might have passed it and there’s a follow-up. But still, my Thursday is burnt!
Arrgh, nvm this festive season we must be happy. An early happy CNY and may all you ppl
wishes come true.
红包拿来! most probably, A lvl results will be out before 17Feb (that's is freaking early)... I'm getting the creeps now...

Whee, I’m back from NS temporarily and will be going back in soon.
Let me assure you all that NS is really quite an enjoyable place to be in if you possess the correct attitude. Now, I’m in W company and W stands for Warriors and Welfare too! That’s why, our company is the only one that got to book out yesterday night and we have one more night of rest at home!!!!! SHIOK!
But with great benefits come heavy responsibilities, our commanders will definitely want more from us, and not forgetting the adjustment period has just ended for us, so next week onwards, it’s punishing time if we do things wrong. However I think my platoon is quite united and my section is the best. Yesterday night once we booked out, we are the only section which gathered to have swensons ice-cream Yummy! (actually there’s a reason, and because our section is the only one that all 12 of us have no girlfriends so we are pretty free. Lonely hearts club..)
NS life is good I think, everyday we sleep early and wake up early, do a lot of physical stuff, get fit and going through thick and thin with my section is definitely a wonderful experience for me. Other than the simultaneous jabbing for me, I’m alright with all the other things. And I have just gotten my new IC. (my picture sucks! I look so weird)
Anyway, anything that you do wrong in army is chargeable offence. I am looking forward to my field camp which is directly after Chinese New Year.
Just checked my bank account, I have just gotten my pay for this month!
Right, can’t say much things about what we do, cause apparently it’s chargeable if I say the wrong things.
and yar, singapore blood bank is facing a shortage of blood units, and i heard the army, having so many men, will want all NSmen to volunteer donating their blood! ARRGH... no! the needle that they use is the biggest and it's quite pain. shit, i should be braver rite...
Ciao and happy Chinese New Year Soon!!

And I looked really different now, and I won’t show anyone my 11B.
All the best to orientation and people who are working!

It’s been really a long time since I’ve blogged. Dunno why I don’t feel like doing it, maybe because I’ve no time, or I’m just plain lazy in typing it. Application for scholarship is boring, need to type so many things (actually I’ve only done one and that organization is not responding to it) heck! I shall just wait till after results are out then I shall start sending out applications (that’s the case if my results are good enough) and although all the applications to UCAS have came back, I still need scholarship before I reply to them. Bleah…
Reflecting back, it’s really a fun-filled and fast holidays since the last paper of As. It’s like almost every other day, I’m out, playing, eating, shopping, and holidaying. I think I’ve done a great job in packing activities in my holidays. Right about 24 hours later, I will be in the place where all boys go in and come out as men island. Now I get the jitters that I will be entering NS soon, after hearing from Jason about the simultaneous jabbing of tetanus and Hep B. that’s scary!! Nonetheless, I actually don’t mind army life.
Oh yar, by the way, Happy 2006, new year, new hopes and new things to come. Hope everyone stay happy in this new year, forget all those unhappy past. I think watching fireworks to usher the new year is a great way to kick off. And the fireworks are really nice, especially at esplanade. Right?
Best wishes for this spanky new 2006!
Goodbye Civilization, Welcome to Tekong!! Haha…
