HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIALI!!Yep, it’s still Jiali’s birthday and I glad so many Maldives people turned up for the gathering at the as-usual Black Canyon. (I think they have blacklisted us cause we are always making so much noise!) she's the eye-candy of the day..
Every time when we meet up, the laughters, the smiles, the jokes, the happiness are always there. And no more talking about Jim buying something cause it will most probably be the last time I do such things le. And although the brownie is a little hard, the taste is there so I guess next time jus bake a little shorter.
Jiali, the birthday girl, was happily enjoying the day. And maeyue will sometimes give off shrieks of laughters which are jam hilarious. Weiling and mel did a darn great job of preparing the brownie, they bought some ice-cream and top it up! Jiacheng was telling everyone how big his chicken (chop) is.. (pun intended) keefe and Richard are so funny when they bought Jiali this big tub of Chin chow aka grass JELLY (notice the similar pronunciation of jelly and jiali)
as usual melvin was giving his weird indian head dances.. haoz with his guitar actions.
ruth was carryin the guitar acting pro tho.. haha she had her run of the day
richard and melvin bluffed the whole group of us with their britainica joke (so not funny lor haha)
Bernie was late but she was in time for the cake-eating ceremony, when we used knife to cut it, spoons to hit it, some throwings and punching and scraping, then some crumbs fell off... haha but it was nice to eat and so fun!!
after the dinner in black canyon, we went out, under the sky and sat near ronald macdonald. sang songs and talked...
i'm sure everyone enjoyed much and hope the Kudafarian spirit burns forever. let's go back to maldives again as a group and relive those memories. spread the happiness and enjoy the times we had!!
next week is the start of J1 promos le so Jiayou all of you all and all the best!!! i'm sure S papers are within reach!! and my muggin for As has started le... whee...
well, it's a happy day!!!!!! lalalala

Yep, Class outing to sentosa is so fun!!
we bought food and most importantly sun-TAN lotion...
at tanjong beach, everyone's instincts to play were unleashed. we started with volleyball which i brought along.
about an hour, people started to get tired, so we rested and entered the sea. at this point of time, some men borrowed the ball from us. while we were slacking in the sea, they came along and told us the volleyball burst. we were playing for so long and nuthin happened, but when they played, they burst the ball! feeling guilty, they paid me the money, and so we used the money to buy another ball and a frisbee!! ha ha...
we had some lunch and continued with the games...
i put on quite a lot of sun-tan lotion so gettin a little burnt... not that other b-word
after the beach games, we went on to try the luge, the new attraction in sentosa... it is basically a cart game n u sit on it, and control it, no fuel no nuthing, pure gravitational forces... it was so so fun but not challenging at all... that time i played the luge in new zealand, they had 2 courses, beginner and advanced... the beginner is like the sentosa wan... then the advanced wan was hardcore... they had really sharp turns... there was like this sign showin a trapezium, and it took me a while to find out that i'm approachin a steep slope, so the next instant i was acceleratin down and even had air time.... that was really scary... but the sentosa luge is really good la, and i really hope they build a more challenging course soon!
reflections:
i'm really glad almost the whole class came for the outing, our class spirit is so strong now, and that xianlun, haoz and my suggestion to sentosa turned out well!! we shld do this more often...
after this veri fun day, we shld buck up for As le... we can do it rite!!
the weather is really good too... sunny all the way, altho some parts of singapore rained today!
the sun sand sea really made me relieve the experiences i had in maldives... really brought me back a lot of great memories. altho promos are reaching veri soon, 8 days later, it will all be over!! so Jiayou!!
if u are feeling a tingling and ticklish sensation on your skin, u are sweating even tho you r in a cool environment, you might have been like me, SUN-BURNT!
i really hope this tan will last a little longer more.... haha
did something "cool"! nt awkward at all.... haha
right now i'm really tired and burnt and shack.... the aches will probably come tomorrow!
and kayu referee neber see the SO obvious hand ball by gallas and awarded liverpool a penalty, if not i would be $17 richer!!

Hmm yes the weather was so no good today, disrupted our class Get Fit Day. Never mind, tomorrow we will be going to sentosa, hopefully the weather will be great tomorrow.
Yup, today I got back all my papers le. Not very satisfied with my results cause it’s the curse xianlun had for his common tests. I’ve got 4 Bs lar… wa lao… I guess I have to buck up more, a lot more to get my As for A!! but I shall start from this Sunday.
Well, 4 Bs is not bad, considering it’s four of Bern? Ha ha… no it means 4 Best results. And I know you surely will do well for promos!!
Another late-night soccer action! Yep, enjoys people and all the best. Although fuel prices are high now, I’m willing to buy some more for you all to JIAYOU!!

Hmm… today was fun with the one and half hour of soccer with my class guys, jam fun la… tomorrow will be the whole class playing floorball. And Thursday, we will be going to sentosa and enjoy the sun sea and sand! It was a little anti-climax when we ended the soccer with a penalty shoot-out and aaron proves to be a tyco kia again… that time he did a turkey for bowling la…
I will wait for all my results to come before I make my comments…
And ya, well done NJ for getting so many achievements in the moe awards, and that lead us to a half-day.
Now, there’s this issue that’s bothering me. A lot of students are scolded for making offensive comments and idiotic remarks of their teachers and principals. I mean if you want to do that, do it discretely, make it ambiguous such that you understand and the person understand but nothing can be done to you. (But I’m not encouraging people to start offending their teachers!) I have great respect for all my teachers, cause maybe I’m a good student and they like me too. Ha ha… i mean the blogging scene is getting dark and scary, and there are so many unknown eyes watching over it. the blogger web search thing can easily locate your blog. Try to google your name to see whether if you are insulted by someone, then maybe you can sue him/her for it! (I’m getting freaked out but angry with such things happening)
Blog is supposed to be a personal thing, not as a tool to attract attention or what. It’s to jot down my happy and sad times and maybe serve as a place where your friends can pop by and say HI! Well, apparently all things change and evolve.
All the way MAN UNITED!!! (hope to win some money… heez)
While you are doing late-night mugging, I will be doing late-night watching of soccer!! Haha OPPs!

Well, the previous post on TV makes me think back on a lot of things. Manly my childhood times, I’m gonna give you a sneak on it. The TV was the only luxury item that my house had when I was small. It might have sort of summarized the financial condition of my family at that time. And this TV seems to be the only item that we brought over from our old house to my new house. Although I had lived in my present house for about 4 years, I just couldn’t forget the times I had in the old house, the place where I lived when I first reached this world. Well, the TV definitely brought me many happy times but there was one incident which I still clearly remembered.
That fateful day was a weekday, and my parents were on leave, bringing my new-born sister to the doctor. As usual the four-year-old me was slacking and watching some TV. And on came Batman (it was one of my favourites). After the exciting flying actions, I’m so tempted. You see, I lived in a HDB 2-storey house and there’s this staircase. So I tied a towel around my neck, like his cape, and climbed up the stairs. Off I jumped, hoping to fly, but Newton the smart guy said there’s such thing as gravity so I came tumbling down the stairs. To break my fall, I stretched out my left hand and stop myself, but that impact was too big that I fractured my collar bone. I was moaning in pain and luckily my maid was there. The next moment, I was with my parents and sister wearing a sling. 3 weeks in a sling wasn’t that fun, and I definitely learnt my lesson.
Well old times are fun right, but there’s always new stuff that captures you on.
Yep, prelims are officially over for me, but I don’t feel a thing. Maybe, I’m on relaxed mode for the past few days le… haha.. hopefully tomorrow goes well for me! Ciao..

Finally, I can say bye bye to my old TV. It has served my family and I for the past 10 years, clocking up to 3 to 4 hours of TV time per day. Sometimes when it’s in good mood, both of its speakers will be working, if it’s having PMS(assuming the TV to be female), then it will switch on only one of it. The best thing is we have to switch on it about half and hour ahead to warm up the cathode ray tube, before the blue screen flickers out images. When the show was about to reach the climax parts, the TV will be naughty and show us the blue screen again. Then I will miss out the best parts of the shows. I will “abuse” it by beating its buttocks and sides, to force the images come out.
There will be only one more week of torture when a new TV arrives my house next weekend. We went to Courts (BT) to choose a new TV as they were offering some great offers. And we get to trade-in our spoilt TV at some price (like free disposal of it). Yeah… and the new TV takes up much less space than the old TV cause it’s smaller. I will mis the TV, for it provided me much entertainment throughout my childhood years. It saw my family and I sitting together in the living room enjoying a show. It witnessed the growing up process of me, and contained the memories of my family.
(i'm so giving my TV a life to it, i'm a murderer... arrgh... haha)
As we count down to the end of prelims, we are welcoming the arrival of As.
Even though we lost, we won’t give up! Chances are aplenty, but we just can’t convert them to success. I believe setbacks will only make us grow stronger, to emerge as victors at the end.
The Arrow and The SongI shot an arrow into the air,It fell to earth, I knew not where; For, so swiftly it flew, the sightCould not follow it in its flight.I breathed a song into the air,It fell to earth, I knew not where; For who has sight so keen and strong,That it can follow the flight of song?Long, long afterward, in an oakI found the arrow, still unbroke; And the song, from beginning to end,I found again in the heart of a friend.by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, a poem on hope and friendship...

Another random ramblings…
A day of slacking and studying in balance is great.
There are some levels in godtower which I can’t explain why the password is that.
I want to have a work-out soon to sweat the hell out, physical condition is bad now.
Sentosa luge ride is $8(inclusive of the one-way trip chairlift).
I want to go airport again for OBA and visit the renovated T2 viewing gallery.
Next Saturday is seminars-day again, which xianlun has laid the plans. Morning is DSTA then afternoon we go suntec area for the Air-force. (government agencies are rich lar)
It’s my aim to visit Old Trafford one day in my life, to visit the grounds and watch a live match there.
(hopefully with a gal I love)
Here’s a cheer I self-made:
Jimmibo-oi is a red, is a red, is a red.
Jimmibo-oi is a red, is a red, is a red.
He hate scrousers!
(sing along to the tune of London bridge is falling down)
Haha, gosh, I’m really bored. And I saw a show on channel 5 just now on some renovation, then the family walked in to see their new house and they were like “My god!” “Oh my god!!” “Holy shit” all the way, to express their amazements. Ha ha…. Hmmm
while, we are here not fretting over food and clothings, some people elsewhere are starving due to poverty. while we are enjoying the sunshine due to Autumnal equinox, others contract cataracts due to over-exposure of UV-rays. while we are playing with the waves up till 1.2m, others are struggling for their lives when tidal waves hit the shores. Although the world is black at times, with the company and concern of friends and families, life is still great. so Enjoy life while you can, and try to look at the brighter part of it.

Hey hey, I can really countdown to the end of prelims. (while some people start on their promos journey haha!!) I’m now left with next Monday’s physics s paper, which I dun think will be easy. Shall go do some practice papers. Maths s today was a little ok. A theory for maths s is valid. If you know how to do, you know how to do, if you don’t know, don’t bother wasting your time. It all depends on your foresight to see the answer and some perseverance to get the answers. I’m just hoping for the best.
After maths s, went to have lunch outside then went to back. Played a little soccer and xianlun the chem S student, seng shiwei and I went to I&E hub and slack. As usual, I won the showdown of Rubik’s cubes with shiwei, haha!! Then xianlun left for his exam, so we three a little bored. Then shiwei suggested to us go play
godtower! Instantly seng and I were addicted to the game. With a little hint from shiwei and mad, we went all the way to level 23. and I learnt quite a lot of things from the research while I’m doing to solve the puzzle. The motto of US1 dollar bill is In God We Trust. And that’s also the answer to another level which seng ee professionally found out. And I can only say a lot of things and clues to guide others to solve but I can’t link the clue to the answer by myself. Ha ha! The game’s really cool, but if you are stuck, request help!
Ruth tudi, don’t worry so much about GP, it’s over le! Do not let that deter you, jus do your best for promos!!
And the theory of acquaintance and friends, it’s up to you to strike a balance between the 2 states, and of course the best situation is a small close group of good friends and a large group of acquaintances, right?

On a Thursday morning, I’m here slacking, preparing to mug for maths tomorrow. When I switched on my television, I was “treated” to 2 breaking news.
First, hurricane Rita is reaching Texas soon and it is upgrading itself to a more powerful storm. The destructing effect will be almost the same as Katrina. It’s like
一波未平,
一波又起. Really hope when Rita reaches land during the weekend, the destruction would be minimum. At least most people are evacuated and the American government has learnt its lesson from Katrina, they are making the necessary arrangements. May god bless them…
Second, CNA was showing a live footage of an Airbus 320 plane landing. I was thinking of why are they showing, and thought along the line of hijackers. Fortunately, it was only the plane having some technical difficulties and had to make an emergency landing. The plane was carrying 145 passengers and crew members and bound for New York. Then they discovered something horrible when air-borne, their nose landing gear was screwed up. The front wheel was not properly aligned. It was aligned perpendicularly to the flight direction. So as I was watching, the big “live” words at the corner of the screen scared me. Cause I saw the plane slowly descend, clearly showing the screwed wheel, and it slowy touched down. Then the back wheels made contact with the tarmac of the runway, and the nose came down too. And the screwed wheel touched down too. The wheel can’t rotate and the friction due to the movement created smoke. The wheel started to disintegrate as the plane “glided” along the runway. At last the plane came to a halt with the nose wheel fully deflated and the plane was displaced downwards. Luckily nothing very bad happened, no casualties, and importantly no explosions or whatsoever, like those in the movies.
Are these bad omens? Too many unlucky things have been happening to America… hmmm…
Once again, lucks to everyone!! No more late-sleeping for you soon… haha!!

IF calling myself Pang YeeDa Jim can get full marks for F Maths paper 2, I would gladly do so!
Ha ha. Once again, our funny, creative, lovable Ms Ng set a killer paper. So for the first question, I saw my name, Yeeda. Apparently Ms Ng included “me” in her question, about my pushing P to the wall and blah blah. Gosh, if I’m not wrong, my “name” has been used twice, the other time in the notes. *Shudders* Yeeda, sounds a little bad right, and the spelling a little weird, you have to drag the ee sound (that makes me sound like yee…… arrgh!!!) Anyway, yar, the paper was bad but manageable, if a little more time was given to me. Well, another subject down, it’s left to Maths and Physics which have to be done well. So better buck up and study now, Yeeda!!!!
(Paiseh, banged into you, didn’t mean it tho. Haha, but you whacked me back… *ouch*)

Something lame and funny happened just now in my house. My mother just bought 3 crabs in the morning, preparing to whip up something nice for dinner. She put the crabs in a shallow pail, in the kitchen. The crabs were tied with raffia strings, so they couldn’t pretty much move around. My sister and I used a chopstick and poked their extendable eyes, sometimes they bubble, so funny la! (haha, so cruel right?) Then I went back to mug more. Suddenly, my sister screamed, she said, there’s only 2 crabs in the pail. My mom and papa came along and gasped too! They were all frantically searching for the missing crab. My kitchen is connected to the storeroom so the area of search is pretty big. And who knows where the crab was, it might just pop out and use its pincers and crab hammer you (pokemon haha). So up and down, left and right, my mother finally found it under the book shelf, in a dark corner of the storeroom. Wao, tremendous display of horizontal walking action and the fact that it’s tied up!!! Guess the uncle did not tie it up properly or that the crab is too hyper!
Never mind, as I’m writing this, my mother is preparing the slaughtering of the CRABS. (polishing of knife sounds) Lol.
Saw this statement in someone’s blog.
“Put a modulus sign to everything, and you will see things more positively!”
So mathematical and philosophical!
2 more hours and the showdown between Man U and Liverpool will be battled out! I really want to go somewhere and watch the live telecast, but my parents do not allow la!!
Really hope to have parents who loved football, then my house will have cableTV and can watch football matches… but, after As, I will be going to places where booze and soccer are available! Yep, haha…
We must win the match, and I believe we can do it!!!!

Whee, it's Mid-Autumn Festival, 中秋节!!! you should be eating mooncakes, drinking some chinese tea, seating around with your family and enjoy the big round bright moon high above your head.
it has been quite a long time i had enjoyed seeing the moon le... enjoyin means taking off some time and enjoy the sight of it, and the fact that singapore is quite light polluted and cloudy, sometimes it's very hard to see the moon, and only at the fifteenth day of the lunar month then u can enjoy seeing the full moon.
the last time was.. (let me recall...) oh ya, in maldives, when we were night fishing.. basically no fish to catch so just lay back n admire the dark sky...
last last time was in OBS, palau ubin, before i fell asleep, oso stared at the moon... haha
and i think i hadn't celebrating the festival for quite some years. my celebrating means goin somewhere and carry my lantern around, lighting up candles, made a mess everywhere with my cousins... all these activities are meant to be enjoyed as kids when exams are not in their dictinary. i still remembered once when my paper lantern got burnt cause the candle inside fell out, and i was laughin at it instead of moanin at the loss of my lantern. the highlight was still to be playing with candles, sparkles... built a mini-campfire and add anything that could be found, like papers, dried leaves, twigs and my cousins' lanterns haha....
thinking back, those times were so enjoyable and fun la... as we grow older, the exams seem to always be around the corner of mid-autumn festival, so can't really enjoy playing much.... haiz.. but good memories tho.... lol...
anyway, the true meaning behind mid-autumn festival is for family to gather and see the moon... now, we are like always around our parents, but when we are older, this is the best time to 聚一聚...but apparently the chinese in singapore just see the day as eating mooncakes...
so u can treat this day and express your love and gratitude to your loved ones! (it's chinese valentine's day for all festivals la... cause that's when family and loved ones gather...)
I love my family and friends and you and her and him and they!!!!!!!

Hmm. I see a cloudless, sunny sky, occasionally some breeze (not sea breeze, like what Christine experienced).Maybe some insecticide smell, cause the contractors are spraying insecticide and fumigating everywhere to kill the stupid aedes mosquitoes. Something to rejoice about is that the number of people contracting dengue fever is declining, but it’s still above hundred each day.
So, with all our might,
Let’s put up a good fight!
The mosquitoes shall die,
Then we can enjoy a pie! (ha ha BOO!)
Another racist blogger caught. Now, there are 3 bloggers arrested for posting racist comments on the net, and I believe that number will increase. I’m not going to talk about how the authorities can discover your true identity, how they can track down you, how they know you made a racist comment. It’s pretty scary that the authorities are keeping a close watch on the internet, this makes a freedom of speech in Singapore harder! But I do not mean making racist comments is good! That’s so stupid!!! You will surely get caught and jailed and fined! What I was thinking of is whether our national education is failing? People are still ignorant about the fact that we being a multi-racial society, cohesiveness and harmony are important. By making racist comments, you are breaking the 3D solid structure of our society. (yes, you can assume you are pectins and inter-weaved to form the big picture of our country. Though we are different, there are still strong hydrogen-bonding that hold us together. Sorry too much chemistry!)
Well haha, too much newspaper reading is bad ah… made me think so much of crab!
OBA was in action. You 2 sure enjoyed right? Ha ha… looking forward to my next OBA!

first week of prelims has jus ended and it felt like it's the end.. haha
well in the morning, had this mini-gatherin at the canteen where melvin, ruth, christine, jolynn, weiling tay, haoz and i... crapping and talking before the chem paper...(wondering why are we not revising?) but it's great just seeing them and talking, receving their blessings! thx u guys n gals man!!
rite, chem paper 1 and 2.... haiz... this is the first time i get my results for chem paper 1 fastest (or rather i marked myself, the ans is on KM)... did quite badly(but barely still made the A grade)... a little disappointed with that result, gotta buck up for my paper 1 technique...
anyway the class had this mini-outing to PS to have lunchie... at pastamania (that place has fond memories la... =D) as usual a lot of funny things happened.. xianlun was waving to a lot of people, includin strangers... n we saw a she-man or he-woman... and wenhao verified it's HIM! haha and seng was pretty sure that it's HER until the name tag reads a guy name....
as usual 171 bus a great journey back home... nice sleep... and xianlun was looking out for BEG(big eyed girl) again.. haha...
reached home and switched on the tv... luckily managed to watch the survivor guatemala direct from satellite... quite nice, the surprises were not surprising after all... haha... don't know why there was a satellite delay, but jus glad can watch... (issit due to the sunspot explosion, large amount of cosmic rays will be emitted thus disabling wireless network and worse power supply, so the satellite companies shut down or move their satellites away from the region to prevent damage) but people relax, our earth's magnetic field is able to prevent us from being mutated due to over-exposure of radiation, u will not see incredile hulk appearing suddenly... jus refrain from going out tml, safety first! anyway, stay at home n mug is the best.. prelims and promos and tests are round the corner!!
tomato hornworms are disgusting!!
Heinze hit by cruciate ligament blow, will most probably miss most of 05/06 EPL season for Man U... arrghh BOO! i really hope he recover well soon... he's such a integral player in the team.. a great left back!! bless him!!
take care of ur health and love maths! ya'all da besta!!!

Things are getting a little serious now. The number of people contracting dengue fever are increasing steadily everyday. We must put a stop to this! So, the government committee has planned for a weekend mass mosquitoes killing at the 4 high-risk areas. Even supermarkets now are offering insect repellents and killers at cheaper prices. I think with all the efforts put in, most importantly is still the people out there. Play a part in protecting your loved ones.
And I was watching the champions league match Villareal Vs Man U. I’m totally not disappointed with the match, and I thought we had played very well. The win was deserved to be ours until the LOUSY referee changed the pace of the game. Mr Nielson aka Kayu referee is an egoistic and arrogant guy. He gave out 6 yellow cards in the match, and had bad positioning. I saw a few times when he was in the path of players and the ball deflected off him. The first yellow card given to Rooney was so unfair, a foul would have done. And Rooney wanted to help him kill the aedes mosquito that was flying in front of him, so Rooney helpfully clapped in front of his face to kill it. Mr Nielson did not accept the good gesture and gave him another yellow card. In football terms, the addition of colours does not follow the nature’s law. Yellow plus Yellow gives You Red (not more yellow). And so bewildered Jim and Rooney and the rest of Man U fans were shocked. If preventing someone from getting bitten by mosquitoes and maybe contracting dengue fever is disrespectful, I don’t know what to say. Just see the person die of dengue and laugh at him? Hiaz, never mind, at least Man U is still unbeaten! There was almost a goal in the first half, but the defender miraculously did a bicycle kick and pumped the ball away from the goal at the goal line. Hope Heinze will recover fast from that knee injury for this weekend Liverpool Match!! (Park Ji Sung is cute, got that typical baby Asian face)
(to song, aedes mosquitoes might have invaded Spain le, hard to say... haha)
What’s the similarity between ali, m, ayou, sung?
(to keep a moron in suspense ha ha)
Well then, lucks to all for the following papers and all the best. Don’t sleep too late everyday ah!! (esp at 2am) :P

There are always funny things happening during exams. Especially it’s the prelims period, things just get weirder. So today was the only day that I had 2 papers in a day. Morning was a brain-draining Maths Paper 1, and then afternoon was a brain+muscle-draining F Maths Paper 1.
So, maths paper was okay. (not in that sense that I will surely do well, just felt alright, hoping for an A, but I must take the paper 2 first right)
Then we had this 3 hrs break to eat and mug through. Feeling a little sleepy though and the afternoon heat was starting to build up. Coincidentally, haoz and I brought a bottle of chicken essence each, to drink before the exam. Ha ha, I’m not sure whether that worked.
Yep, at the F maths exam, I was sitting right in front, and had to raise my head high up to look at the clock la… right, about the best joke of they day.
Apparently someone forgot to switch his or her phone to silent mode, so it was beeping among the bags. When I first heard the beep, my “natural instinct” was to stop writing, put my right hand into my right pocket at my trousers. Yup, my phone was in my bag! Then the phone beeped again, so the teacher was staring at me, and said, “Please switch off your phone!” but I told her it was not mine, and pulled out both of my pockets, you know like that kind of broke people. And so she asked the class, whose phone was it. nobody answered, so she went back marking her Maths papers! And I couldn’t contain my laughter, took me about 5min to settle down. Gosh, 5 min is a lot!
was thinking about the short 17+ years i've led, i think i might have experienced more than others, with all the overseas trips, the friends i've made, their smiles which illuminated my life, the caring teachers, my wonderful parents and sister, the special ones in my life!
life is short saddening, but as usual, good things don't last, therefore, we must cherish the times we have. make it a point to make others' days.
Life can seem ungrateful and not always kind...
Life can pull at your heartstrings and play with your mind...
Life can be blissful and happy and free...
Life can put beauty in the things that you see...
Life can place challenges right at your feet...
Life can make good of the hardships we meet...
Life can overwhelm you and make your head spin...
Life can reward those determined to win...
Life can be hurtful and not always fair...
Life can surround you with people who care...
Life clearly does offer its Up and its Downs...
Life's days can bring you both smiles and frowns...
Life teaches us to take the good with the bad...
Life is a mixture of happy and sad...
So...
Take the Life that you have and give it your best...
Think positive, be happy let God do the rest...
Take the challenges that life has laid at your feet...
Take pride and be thankful for each one you meet...
To yourself give forgiveness if you stumble and fall...
Take each day that is dealt you and give it your all...
Take the love that you're given and return it with care...
Have faith that when needed it will always be there...
Take time to find the beauty in the things that you see...
Take life's simple pleasures let them set your heart free...
The idea here is simply to even the score...
As you are met and faced with Life's Tug of War...

PRELIMS are finally, long-awaited!
Ha ha, I shall not be deterred by you!
Today’s was Chemistry Paper 3. During the 2hrs and 45min paper, my stomach was giving me quite a lot of problems. Regular intervals of farting and near stomach cramps dominated for some time. I counted, there were at least 5 waves of intense near miss. Couldn’t Fat Boy just wait a little more??? Luckily the paper was manageable; some parts require more thinking, but generally alright. When the invigilator released us, I rushed down to toilet and flushed it all out like a waterfall. *arrrgghhhh* feeling was Great! But I could tell you the experience wasn’t good, so please visit the toilet before any exams, don’t have also must cake out!
2 maths papers tomorrow, wish me lucks! And all you J2s, J1s, IPs, hang on and pull through these hard times. Look forward to the eoy celebrations and Halloween’s coming! Spooky!
Tough times don’t last, tough men do!

Yeah, so tomorrow’s P-Day. I was telling Weeping that it meant Prelims-Day. There will be one called A-Day. So, everyone, do your best and give it your better shot at it. (Leave the best for A-Day) Good lucks to all and Kampatei!
I’m sure all you will get promoted! Don’t worry!

not gonna talk abt mugging today cos it's abt the same everyday...
gonna talk abt news ard us!
dis afternoon, outside orchard mrt, a package was found and it consists some a HEAD, ARMS and some body parts.
it's outside orchard mrt station la, a so public place and how the hell in the first place did the murderer place the package there... how come our people become so sadistic and he's courtin death issit... Singapore CIDs are one of the best in the world la, the case solving rate is very high la, so i'm sure the police will crack the case pretty fast..(the murderer shld hav just bury the body somewhere in the jungle or wad)
Dengue fever!! there's now a high record number of patients contracting dengue fever... so dangerous... people pls take care cos dengue fever will make u sick for weeks and in severe cases may lead to death!! so clear any stagnant water in ur hse, cos more than 50% of the aedes mosquitoes breeding sites are found in houses!!! and these bloody mosquitoes can fly up to 21st storey so it doesn't mean u live at 7th floor u r safe! (those living at ground floor worse la... haha opps!) pls be vigilant, like how we tackle the SARS prob!!
last talkin point... me beloved secondary school has announced something impt today!!! River Valley High School is officially offering a 6-years Integrated Programme! starting from dis yr, sec 1s will be able to skip the O levels and take a 6 yrs course to get the A lvl cert! i'm so proud that we are able to achieve such status and we are doing it alone unlike the present schools where they collaborate with the JCs or wad.... i mean this shows that MOE definitely hav faith in us based on our track records and the uniqueness of RV!! that's great! proud la...
but u see i foresee a prob now, the present holding school site is a little small, but nvm we are apparently re-building the west coast site... but now if we want to accomodate 6yrs then the west coast site will be too small... so by mud-2006, RV will move to another holding school.. SAJC malan rd... then a new site at jln boon lay is under construction now... we gonna need a lot more money rite? hmm.. more donation drive, but it's worth it la... if u want to noe more, pls refer to
http://www.moe.gov.sg/press/2005/pr20050909.htmso proud... la..
i jus a little sad cos i missed the opportunity to be in this prog... but that means i'm gonna be born yrs later then i'm nt able to meet all my frens ...
but NJ ip is also nt bad so u hav more choices...
3 more weeks n 3 more months... haha.. YAY!!
MAN u vs Man city tml!! derby, yeah we can win!! god bless ronaldo's dad rip...

OBAoutward bound airport has ended, but i believe it's just part 1 for me.
on wed nite, i met up with my bros and we proceeded to Singapore's Best and World renowned Changi Airport (my dream working place, someone's too) reached there ard 8, so song, sk, kenny, marco and i wandered ard, finding a place to settle our dinner. i now know the eateries in airport at the back of my hand, so u all can ask me. eliminating those exceeding our budget, we were left with fast food only... ha ha (stupid staff canteens onli open till 9pm). and also little boy boy aka song wanted to hop on the sky train, so we decided to go T1.
I did someting really stupid on the train, so ashamed of myself. there are really a lot of muggers in the airport la... so we settled with T1 BK and also their study environment is better, quieter...
after munching our dinner, we started the true process at ard ten ... but u noe, as time drags, sleepiness starts to creep in, so i tot of an ingenious idea, we must give ourselves aim. to survive thru the overnight mugging, we cannot fall asleep. so set midnight to play games. with aniticipation, midnight arrived and we played a game called pictionary! ha ha... one person draw, the others guess.. and we thought of all sorts of themes, esp RV, cos i was the one to start drawing, so i just drew a circle and klever kenny guessed it correctly, it's our principal Ms Ek(egg) haha... that one was so funny that everyone was jolted and re-energised.
after more mugging, i told myself, at ard 2, i will go to the viewing gallery and see the wonderful planes.
ya i went up, had some scilence, airport at that time is really quiet, and the viewing gallery is dim, induces me to slp la...(but lucky there's u who kept me goin on till ard 3, after that was my will power le.. haha) i was looking out and saw those weird airlines planes... but nvm, at least i saw a plane taxi-ing out of its gate, and it slowly moved out... set me back thinking abt a lot of things... i even spotted an Air Emirates plane, the one that's identical that i took to maldives. (n u were saying, yar simplicity is bliss) that trip to maldives was a point-turning exp, i met so many frens, learnt so many things, saw so many things, n i would definitely want to go back there again if got the chance... soon, that emirates plane also went off le... then i went back to mug some more...
ard 4, we walked to T2 mac and settled down there, the cushion there is the best la! free-refill coffee, hashbrowns and internet access... song n i went to check Northern Ireland vs England.. we were totally devasted with the scoreline, eng lost, 1-0... (I dunno whether issit i jinxed england, i was wearing my england jersey)... i really hope that Eriksson better does a Much better job for the following matches to World cup 2006 in Germany, it would definitely be a shame for the founder of football country not to qualify!!!
so more physics for me and it was ard 8am le... we were a little in dazed mode... so ya slept all the way back... haha the whole trip reminded us of the chalet times when we went back, we would board the train at pasir ris and be knocked out.... it was definitely a fun, good and productive experience at the airport. so maybe let's go again to mug for As!!! i will set the date soon.. kay? n by that time, T2 viewing gallery will be opened, hope it will be much better than T1's...
dun tear up ur papers or notes, i noe u can surely do well for exams! Gambatte!! thx for it!!

Hurricane Katrina had caused great devastation to several states in america, particularly near the gulf coast. as the states are mostly under sea level, so when the storm surged past, it destroyed the barriers and caused most part of the city to be flooded. houses and many properties are gone within one day. for survival, people looted stores to get water and food. however some black sheep of the society started looting gun shops and armed themselves, upsetting the order and law of the society. they stole recue goods, shot at helicopters, drug addicts barged into hospitals for a sniff or two. worst still, some evil people raped young girls at the superdome where most people stayed. as toilets were overflowing, people just released themselves on the floor. such scenes are just too sad to be seen.
US, a country of civillised people, how could such things happen? i think when disasters happen, at times of desperation, the evil sides of people just surfaced and dominated them.
but glimpses of sunlight can be seen. president bush had visited the area and more troops have arrived. more rescue troops and supplies have arrived. people are gettin the help and they are clearing from that place to a safer and better place.
hope is there. there are definitely help from us. singapore even sent 3 chinooks immediately when the us counterparts asked for help. such strong friendship displayed makes me proud of singapore.
may god bless those in sufferings to see light quickly. hope they can get on with their normal lives asap.
today i went to suntec with lun haoz and sixun for the psc seminar. heard a lot of scholars and their experiences overseas. well as one of them said, just whack all the scholarship applications and see if tio which one, but that's provided if my results are good enough.
suntec today is so full, got PSC, ot bridal fair, got sports sale, comex, food fair...shudders too many people le!
anyway, mugging time...

Passion Your Pursuit
i'm gonna share what happens today for passion pursuit!
first and foremost, I think it's very well-done and i think it's so successful. i had certainly been inspired by the teachers and i think we should have more of such activities in schools, more chances for people to showcase their talents and passion. the day started with us walking around, can't seem to find a place that's offering nice stunts.
it started when the usual few of us slacking around the canteen waiting to see some cook show.
so i wandered ard a little and saw ms yee, and she was sharing her new zealand experiences. n since i've been to NZ before, i had an animated conversion sharing with her too. i was browsing through her photos and recalled the familiar scences i went before. (i was actually oso searching for the presence of her boyfriend but all i saw was her sister.. they look so alike.. yee..)
next i joined shiwei at the rock/pop workshop. Other than PA sucks, everything was very good. kenneth koh is a good rapper and his band was great la... i must say he really put in quite a lot of effort to dis workshop so i got myself quite high when they played some pulsating tunes in the total darkness of LT1. best! Cause it feels so good to be out of control. i admire him for his courage, his determination. though he is suffering from a skin disorder, he never gave up n continued to pursue his passion, now that's the spirit that i want!
during the short interval, another teacher ms chee was playing a game. she passed 2 water bottles ard the crowd and lik playing pass the bomb. so the band started playing. when i got hold of it, i wanted to pass it, but i was at the aisle so, i had to throw the bottle across, but it's filled with water so i thought might hurt someone, so i aimed properly first den threw, and at that timely interval, the music stopped. there was a little commotion, some said it was me, the teacher pointed at me, but i kept denying and luckily that group of ppl that i threw to, was so spontaneous at sabo-ing their fren that they just pushed him up to stage. LUCKY ME! thwey had to dance to some weird and girly moves which the teacher performed. HENGS! if not i would be embarassing myself in front of the crowd.
in front of bernie...so anyway that was great. after that was a mini-concert by various teachers. there were opera singer, diploma-pianist, talented musician who cut an album with her friends, ex-SYO cello member, great singer, excellent flute blower, and a stand-out comedian who knows how to play the piano to bring out certain emotions. just so many crouching tigers hidden dragons in our sch la!!
went to find ms ng, doin her manicure lessons there n i saw all the hot girls (bernie, jiali, ruth, christine, maeyue n their frens) there la, learnin how to paint their nails. but the room smelled too much of paraffin. dizzy..
all were great! i really must say this passion pursuit day really is successful. i want more! but dun tink there's opportunity for such events to happen le. maybe next year, the students can showcase their talents.
tml will be goin to suntec again for a seminar... lala.. life is great at the moment, but next weekend will be stressed like siao, cos PRELIMS are really close!!!
(She laughs at my dreams, but I dream about her laughters.)

Superstar is out!! kelvin, he defied the odds n became our new superstar!
my mom voted for kelvin for 5 times la...
but anyway, both kelvin and kelly hav signed contract wif music companies so it's sort of win win.... congrats to both still!
When kelly was singing the beach song, the 合音 angels was mouthing papadum.. haha so funny papdum? The crunchy chips that we ate in kudafari which is surrounded by beach… good one.
but i tink JJ lin jun jie was the "star" of the show la... his screams are louder and his performance was the best. (dun u agree christine?)
i totally admired him now!
kelly poon jiali and jelly khoo jiali... sound so alike.. haha
it's a long journey out there so hang on ppl..!
pursue ur passion tml.. (avoid make-up booth)!
